Helfrich Jr., 70, of Findlay passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Robert was born on March 15, 1950 in Celina, Ohio to Lt. Colonel Robert H. and Gloria (Blum) Helfrich Sr. He married Mary McNabb on June 3, 1973 in Wiesbaden, Germany and she survives in Findlay. Also surviving are his children: Mary &ldquo;Michelle&rdquo; Helfrich of the Bronx, New York and Robert &ldquo;Christian&rdquo; (Rachel Wilson) Helfrich of Cincinnati, granddaughter Sofia Renee Helfrich, mother Gloria Helfrich of Huron, Ohio, sisters Shirley Buchholz and Elizaebeth Rothgib, and an aunt Kathleen Helfrich of Sandusky, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father and uncle Charles Helfrich.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Robert worked in the banking industry and after retirement went to work for Something Special, where he felt most fulfilled helping children. Bob was a man of faith. He was a former member of the Exchange Club and Kiwanis and a member of the First Lutheran Church. Bob had a passion for water, rebuilding classic Porsches, sailing. He had a great sense of humor and truly loved the time he spent with his family.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Robert&#39;s Memorial Service will be on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the First Lutheran Church,&nbsp; 109 E. Robert H. Helfrich Jr., 70, of Findlay passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.
